رنوموفق به کسب 5 ستاره در استاندارد یورو NCAP گردید :Renault Captur earns five-star rating Euro NCAP
Renault Captur
has secured a five-star rating from the European New Car Assessment
Program (Euro NCAP) after acing the body’s passive safety tests. The
small crossover achieved a global score of 80.5 percent, becoming the
15th Renault model to earn Euro NCAP’s maximum five-star passive safety
rating. Renault Captur’s high safety score was a result of the adoption
of a precise, responsive chassis. The carmaker aimed for Captur to
provide the same high standard of passive safety as the New Clio, since
both cars are underpinned by the same platform. Renault’s excellent
safety performance was achieved through research on road accidents as
well as on the real-world behavior of motorists – all done to develop
safety solutions founded on a more holistic, efficient
approach. For a more effective occupant protection, the electronic
architecture of Renault Captur was designed to ensure that the
crossover’s latest-generation protective systems are triggered even
sooner.
In case of a head-on collision, Captur’s front passengers are secured by two high-efficiency airbags and seat belts equipped with pretensioners and load limiters calibrated at 400daN. Rear occupants are protected by three-point seat belts, plus load limiters for the outer seats. The vehicle’s occupant protection in case of side-on impacts gained an impressive score of 7.9 from 8.
To be able to sense impacts and respond up to twice as fast, Renault installed two impact detection sensors on each side -- one in the front doors and the other in the B-pillars. A specific algorithm also adjusts the way the vehicle’s head-thorax airbags are deployed to match the gravity of the impact. Combined with the ‘pole’ and ‘rear impact’ tests, the results allowed Renault Captur to gain 32 points from a possible 36 for adult protection. Captur managed to get a five-star rating even after Euro NCAP implemented more stringent scoring procedure this year.
